The little city with so much to do

There’s so much to enjoy right on your doorstep. Cramphorn Studio stages touring theatre, live music and comedy. The Odeon and Everyman cinemas cater for all cinema tastes. Fox and Raven and the 17th century Golden Fleece offer food and refreshments in traditional surroundings. Or sip a craft beer at the hipster Ale House.

Continued investment means Chelmsford is better served than ever, with a fully pedestrianised high street linking the High Chelmer and The Meadows malls. The new Bond Street development has brought stores like John Lewis, Foyles, Cath Kidston and Jack Wills to the city- all just a short walk away!

City Park West’s parkside location makes it easy to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle. From a group
Parkrun or an evening cycle in Central Park, to kayaking on the River Chelmer, it’s all on your doorstep.

Stay connected – it’s easy to get around or home!

Located a few minutes’ walk from Chelmsford Station, City Park West is ideally located for commuting. Fast trains to London Liverpool Street have a journey time of just 35 minutes, and run at 15-minute intervals throughout the day. In the other direction, a similar journey time will take you through open countryside to the Essex coast.

Bus links also couldn’t be easier, with the Chelmsford bus station opposite the rail station.

For trips further afield, London Stansted and Southend airports are both about a 30 minute drive away.

From 2019, the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) will run from a new eastern terminus at Shenfield Station, which has a journey time of approximately 10 minutes from Chelmsford Station.
